Western Scene for Broadview Church

Another classroom mural for the church's children's wing. As with most of the others, this one measures approximately 8' high by 16' wide. This was the second mural painted for the church. With each room i tried to vary the styles. This one followed a cartoon-like characterization of some of the key creatures. Also with this mural, I embedded dozens of "hidden" elements. It becomes a sort of seek-and-find piece. Scattered throughout the painting are a number of creatures that are not too easy to spot at first glance. This piece is also a tribute to the Big Country area of west Texas, at least in a good year of spring rains with abundant hay harvests and bountiful wildflowers!
