Medium Preferences

For murals I work in acrylics. Those inexpensive craft store bottles. I like these paints because they are inexpensive and come in so many vibrant colors. I also like that they dry quickly. I prefer to work at a quick pace. This has taken time to get the feel for blending and layering. They are also very durable. For full color illustrations I've used watercolor enhanced with color pencil and outlined with black ink drafting pens. On my pen and ink drawings I sketch in pencil then go over it with drafting pens or use a light board to trace the sketches. The cardboard sculptures medium is self-explanatory. I look forward to exploring the iPad drawing apps more as a media and tool.
